Notes
This is meant as a non-figurative cross section of a plant, like part of a leaf. I wanted it to potentially trigger trypophobia, the fear of lots of little tiny holes. I took a spade chisel and made the different holes one at a time, largest to smallest, by varying how deep I twirled the spade chisel. I practiced 3 times as I worked the material down from its original cube size. I stayed late to finish making and casting my own plaster with the teacher and another student. It was fun.
